oh heck i've had plates i've dropped not shatter, but i went and put one down on the counter with a small thunk.. and when i picked it up.. only half the plate came up.. i stood there stupidly trying to figure out what had happened.

The pans aren't disposable, but the cups, plates, bowls, and silverware are.

could be.. but i swear i was super carefull with my plates for months afterwards haha.. cause it was just like 'i am so glad i didn't have supper on that yet' josh about died laughing at my face.

No, I've been safe from exploding glasses. I had a round bottomed flask explode but that was when I knocked it on the bench and it rolled onto the floor.

Can't do fragile plates.
