It's the same for me. That's why you have to do your best to get all your work done on time. I've been staying late for the last two weeks though. V_V

Yeah, then that's something you need to discuss with your boss. I know it's hard, that's why I personally never do it. But if it really becomes a lot you should talk to them about decreasing your work load a bit.

HEaring from old colleagues, they all said the boss is a quite lenient and approachable boss.
But as a new worker, just 7 or 8 months, I am quite shy to voice out. besides, it is not too much overtime. So far, only done a few nights. not more than five.

Yeah, it was like a year end review meeting with each person individually to discuss our progress and give us the bonus.

For a country that is multi racial, it is consider a luxury.
We have celebrations for Chinese, Islam, Christian, Buddhist and Hindu. Only the importance ones obtain a gazetted holiday.
Chinese New Year and Islamic New Year already 2 days each. It is a good spread out of holidays.
