i'm actually not going to be around much for the next two days soooo yea... my contest thread in the event forum might get a little neglected lol but i am meeting family and more family. my nephew's birthday is tomorrow, christmas eve, and i get to spend some time with him. i love him soooo much! |

And yeah, I'm kinda glad that our holiday stuff is outta the way already. Family gatherings can be HELLA stressful, but I hope that yours go well. :) |

Haha, yep. Who needs to socialise when you have a face full of mince pie! And, yeah, I guess so. ^^ The main thing that was good about this year is that my bro came down from the U.S. to spend Christmas with us, which was better than any gifts. Aside from that, I just got some DVDs that I'd been wanting and a necklace made from a Pokemon card. *shrug* This year we had a pretty small Christmas, but I enjoyed just spending time with all us kids together. :) You gotten any early presents or anything yet? |

Haha, I don't know if I could find a picture, but it's pretty much a pendant with the artwork from a Pokemon card as the dangly bit. Like, how some people have snippets of a book, or a flower petal or whatever, y'know? Haha, I'm not very good at explaining. ^^;
I think my brother is in Seattle, and he's there 'cus of work related stuff, but he came back here to graduate and get all his phd stuff finished. We're all very proud of him. ^^ Gah, he's adorable! How dare he! Brown eyes, just like auntie Linn, eh? ^^ I bet you'll be his favourite [;)] |
oh that's so cool! i lived in seattle for a very short time and i loved it there... just not the person i lived with, sadly. have you ever been out to visit? but your brother sounds very accomplished! that's so great!

Yeah, my brother is like mega smart, to the point of ridiculousness :P But no, sadly, we haven't been up to visit him yet. If he continues living in Seattle we might go and visit him eventually, but so far we haven't had the time so instead we just Skype with him every Saturday.

hahaha i like to think i am a bit special [lol] definitely different than most girlies i reckon, and i like it that way! hockey isn't as big as one might think (us being so close to canada here in maine and all) but yea, i mean, it's up there and i think it gets more fans than the basketball farm team and the baseball farm team we have here [yes]

Mm, I think it's great that you have such an interest in hockey. Do you play any sports yourself, or are you just a fan? I personally don't follow or participate in any sports, so I know next to nil about hockey, or anything else for that matter. :P
Well, I guess you could say that [roll] I do pretty well at school, I guess, and if you want to classify genius like that then sure. [lol] This year I got some pretty swanky academic awards and I topped my psych class, so that was pretty exciting. :P Are you still working with kids as a counsellor? Am I even remembering correctly? :P |
Wishing I had somebody special to spend the holidays with. Or the means to travel.
