Homemade food is generally healthier than outside food, but only if you make sure it is so. You can certainly ensure that your ingredients are fresher and your way of cooking is better.

It depends on the enemy? I mean, most of the time it's just a bit salty. It depends on how hardcore an enemy they are. If it's someone that like, tickled someone when they was cranky, it can have a sweet after taste, because the "evil" wasn't that bad. But if they like, killed Batman's parents... then it's very bitter. It depends on the level of evil in the act against the protagonist.
