It's not a total landscape, it's an in color picture, taken of my parents at dusk - so the whole lake and sky is in color (very light pastels) but they're silhouetted.

Mnemosyne: Thank you!! I have so many people go "Are you sure you didn't edit it?" Nope, no editing at all, that is exactly how I took it. I'm so glad that my parents loved it - yay for the print actually turning out! I do remember that day being FREAKING COLD!! I was shivering, yet I wasn't wearing gloves as I can't work my camera properly if I have gloves on. Heh. lol! Oh what I do in order to try to get a decent picture. And it wasn't posed either - they were just walking and I Was lingering behind them with my camera. [yes] (Which is what usually ends up happening whenever I have my camera out. [lol])

It came out very nice! Generally cold weather/position of the sun gives you that filtered effect so I have no doubt that you just happened to get the perfect shot. Its awesome when that happens. I absolutely adore the effect though. Makes everything seem so calm and surreal almost.

Yeah, dusk in March, killing time before our dinner reservation. [yes] I totally agree, and not freezing my butt off. Haha! :P There was still snow on the ground. LOL! I never edit my photos, if a photo doesn't turn out, it gets deleted. Although I do love it when I'm at the right place, at the right time and just happen to have my camera out. <333 Makes me happy when pics turn out amazing by accident! LOL! |

I WANTED TO TOTALLY JUMP IN WITH ROSIE (the hippo) - she wasn't quite a month old in those pics, she was born on Halloween. LOL! But yeah, that wouldn't have been smart, and I use a FujiFilm FinePix S3280. [yes] Well it depends on the picture on there, but the pictures taken from Summer of 2012 onwards were all taken on that one, the others were taken on my Kodak EasyShare camera, or my parent's camera, and I can't think of what kind of camera that is. It just depends on the camera. |

I really should go and get some sleep soon myself. As I have to get up somewhat early and get ready to go out - ugh, I just remembered I still need a shower. I should take that now, before I go to bed. I just don't want to wake up my parents as my bathroom, is down near my parents room and they're already asleep. |

I am just glad my mom was nice enough to dish out the dough for it. I would still be using my film using minolta otherwise x.x |
