I have a drying rack that I use indoors.

Ivvy 01-01-2015 11:59 PM

ohh that is a nice idea I need to get one of those. it would make it less stressful.

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 12:00 AM

Yeah, they're super easy to put together or even come already put together. They fold down flat too for easy storage. I think mine was like $10 and it hangs quite a few things.

Dystopia 01-02-2015 12:03 AM

Does it work indoors?

Ivvy 01-02-2015 12:03 AM

nice I will have to look for one then for sure.

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 12:25 AM

Yep! It's just a folding stand you put up. If your clothes are soaking wet I would recommend putting it over a hard floor with a towel but otherwise there's no problem.

Dystopia 01-02-2015 12:25 AM

It seems like it'd be really slow witout air or sun tho.

Ivvy 01-02-2015 12:27 AM

Well I have an area with a high watt light so I think it could work.

Dystopia 01-02-2015 12:32 AM

Oh, I see. xD

Ivvy 01-02-2015 12:34 AM

yep giant artificial light and heat source is helpful when trying to dry things out I would think.

Mine usually dry in a day in the summer. Some things take two days in the winter.

Dystopia 01-02-2015 01:40 AM

o_o That's a long time for laundry! What if you run out of underwear?

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 01:41 AM

I dry that in the dryer. There are only certain things I leave out to dry. Underwear would only take a day for sure though. It's the heavier things like sweaters and pants that take longer.

Dystopia 01-02-2015 01:43 AM

Oh, I see. Why do you have both a dryer and a hanging thing?

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 01:44 AM

I don't have a dryer. I have to go to the laundromat. I have a lot of clothes though that are hang dry and can't go in the dryer so I bring them back to my place to air dry.

Dystopia 01-02-2015 01:44 AM

Oh, I see.

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 01:45 AM

Yeah, it's kinda lame but at least the laundromat is super close so I don't have to walk very far.

Ivvy 01-02-2015 01:47 AM

Im back was making dinner

Dystopia 01-02-2015 01:47 AM

:c I want my own 'cause I don't like laundromats. People can be assholes!

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 01:49 AM

Oh believe me, I hate going to the laundromat. When I went yesterday there was a woman who was rather nasty with me.

Ivvy 01-02-2015 01:50 AM

people can for sure.

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 01:51 AM

It's also a Chinese laundromat and the ladies there don't speak more than a handful of English words. It can make things quite awkward at times...

Dystopia 01-02-2015 01:51 AM

Did she take your stuff out of the dryeR? D:

Ivvy 01-02-2015 01:52 AM

Oh all the mats here are unmanned.

zigbigadorlube 01-02-2015 01:55 AM

Nope. There were all these empty carts in front of the machines and one of them had her stuff in a bag sitting in one and I started putting my clothes into two machines that were side by side and one was sort of close to where her stuff was and she came over yelling that didn't I see her things were there and blah. There were sooo many machines open all over the place. Just because she left a bag sitting somewhere doesn't mean anything at all. If she wanted the machine then she should have put her stuff in it. And then when I went up to the counter to get quarters I had to wait for her because she had left her quarters all over the counter. *sigh*
