Star Wars is fun times. My husband and I are both fans but not so much that we'd harass anyone who either hasn't seen it or doesn't like it. The genre isn't for everyone.

No, they actually don't. Despite not having a fan, the metal body actually acts like a heat sink and evenly distributes the heat. The downside though is that it can get quite warm. Especially if you have the 15 inch and up (what I have) and I think it's mostly because of the graphics card. Smaller models don't have one. My husband's 13 inch one doesn't get nearly as hot as mine will, even if he's also running similar programs.

I don't feel safe because what if the lights go out again, Hummy? This is the easiest room to be in when that happens.

it's good they figured out a way to keep the circuts cool
are you using your laptop for gaming, since you have a graphic card

I know! I have 2 saved for myself (because 2 is the plan and eff handy-downs). Think Geek sells he one I guy but they're out of stock. :(

@ Hummy: No. I have a PC for gaming. Getting a mac with the same stats as my PC would be way too expensive for me. But, my university required everyone to have a macbook pro with very specific stats. So, I bought one back then and then just stuck with them. I'm a clutz. Their laptops actually hold up to my being clumsy. I'm no apple fangirl though. Nor a PC fangirl. I get what works for me.

p.s. hummy. i went back and added numbers for like 10 pages... i probabyl still missed some, but i went back to 115 for sure. and i know i went all the way to 100. so there might be 14 ish that dont have numbers...
