I LIVED out there, right on the river could just step out on my front porch and *bam* beautiful nature :) I even saw seals and was like WTF and one of my neighbors was like "yeah they fallow the salmon up and drive the fishermen crazy" XD Plus there was a little off the beaten path beach hidden just a few steps away, Had to go on a little hike through some woods and it was almost ALWAYS empty. I have a love hate relationship with the party kids out there so it was nice to have a beach all to myself from time time :)

Yeah I have some of my bigger peices hanging on my ceiling even just cuse there wasn't anymore spots XD Plus my bathtub hold heat super well being metal so I don't have to do that thing where you keep draining water and adding more hot just to keep the temperature comfy so I can soak in it for WAY longer then needed XD like a bath tub/ hot tub
lol it's true! I don't recall the commercial but I've never been one for broadcast tv. I do see the way people get glared at if they bring a umbrella on the max or something though people are like "there's no space for that in here get a rain coat pussy" I actually have a thing for cute lolita umbrellas and while I never just carry them around and I don't even use them for the rain, it's more of an outfit thing XD I had one girl tell me my umbrella was ONLY acceptable because of it's cure cat ears XD

Well I shall, since I kinda of disowned my friends and there poor life choices and the fact I don't want to go down that path, then yes I shall be on mene for as much as I can! I also need to pay off my credit card so I can go places again so I will be on hear much since I will have no money most of the time.

Omg I miss the MAX system so much. I feel like that's another reason we were always doing stuff because you didn't even have to drive anywhere.
I lived in the neighborhood right across from the washington county fairgrounds, andd there's a max station down from that, so like literally we could walk to the station, and go to the zoo in portland xD Man it was great xD

YES! It's so weird that raincoats and ponchos are totally fine but get an umbrella and you're shunned xD

And Bound Bride Thank you! Im glad to make someone besides my mother and sister proud for what I did. And it is hard, I care about them and worry about them. But as my sister says, not my monkey not my mess. and in the past four months I have done lots of things with out them. I wrote a terrible book but still I wrote something, I have made plans to go somewhere next year or this year, depending on how fast I can pay off the credit card and get money saved up. I have been looking into the long term of life and not the short term like I used to think. And I haven't had a moment where I wonder if any one truly would miss me... Its been a dark past two years but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel now.

I'm not sure of the rest of the context to this convo but congrats and keep up the good work! This is wonderfully inspiring and I don't know you very well but I'm happy for you! :D

RIGHT? like why the hate on umbrellas? but they just don't really work if the wind picks up, and rain coats take up zero extra space and there are some places (like the max) that space is a premium XD I hate it when I don't know there's a timbers game until I'm at the max platform and I'm like "OH well standing room only for the next few hours" But it's true we have an awesome public transport system. I haven't owned my own car out here. I NEVER drive downtown, why would you? So you can pay an arm and a leg for parking or spend hours circling one ways looking for a space. No way not with a stop every other block or so XP They don't have the free zone anymore though and that's sad cuse I used that to my advantage A LOT

Horse trough tubs are actually really common for tiny houses because 1, way cheaper 2 way lighter (an issue if you ever want to tow your house lighter = better) 3 have like no installation like a normal tub, they come with a drain hole already so you just hook your gray line to that and install the shower head you need anyway 4 they come in LOTS of sizes, I went for a huge one because I love a good bath but if you google "horse trough tub" you'll see all KINDS of sizes and styles they work into 5 all the things I already said lol XD

East oregon reminds me of colorado where I'm from so it's not as awe inspiring as the coast to me. Living in a land locked state and then moving to the ocean your like *OMG I'm NEVER LEAVING" lol but I still have explored Pendelton, Bend it nice in it's own way, around Crater Lake and kalamath falls and such. OH and Silver Falls is amazing though it's more central then east. BUT I've been looking at land out there and it's CHEAP like 5000 for an acre so I debate about moving down there from time to time. but I also REALLY love portland and not sure if I want to be so far away
