The verdict at the holiday party was that the lemon bars were good! [lol] Phew, I'm so happy and so glad... glad they turned out the best that I've made 'em, and happy that people liked 'em! [mrgreen]
Naisou, both of those concoctions are magnificent. [love] There's so much awesome foodstuffs being submitted this year. I'm seriously inspired to try my hand at recreating a good half of it! Woo! [squee] That cocktail is especially enticing though. [ninja] I'm of the cocktail persuasion, and love vodka and coconut, so I may have to try it! |
i'd recreate most of these foods myself to. xD if only i wasn't allergic to pineapple [illgetu] i love pineapple, but pregnancy gave me an allergy to it xD *eats pineapple upside down cake with no regrets*

Thanks Facade, the cocktail was good but next time I won't use as much ice as it called for. Watered it down too much for me. :/ my mom liked it that way though lol.
I might have to try out your lemon bars. They looked really good.. Reminds me of a meringue-less lemon meringue pie. And I always scrape that off so its perfect! Lol |

Lots of garlic and chiles (didn't include jalapeņos this time around), and I'll likely have hot sauce when I go in for the kill to devour this in a few minutes. [twisted] I love spice. This time I didn't use whole peeled canned tomatoes, since I forgot I only had pureed, but I think this came out better than before! Mm, fingerling potatoes and spicy sauce. [love] Comfort food! |
