I'm picky with coffee. There's not a whole lot that I like drinking...mostly I use tea for caffeine.

Sadly tea blocks the absorption of iron.

It does but you only can't drink it one half hour before you take an iron supplement and after you take the iron supplement

I just don't plan on drinking tea around the time I plan on giving blood. So it will work.
