I'm currently between jobs still (was laid off a few months back, at literally the slowest time of year for hiring, so it's been tough to find a replacement yet). Hoping once Jan. 2 kicks in, things will change. I do have a 2nd round job interview on that very day, too, and one I'm seriously excited about! [mrgreen] Fingers crossed. ...Needless to say, the whole joblessness thing has been a struggle. [rofl] I haven't slept this good in my life, to be honest, but without that built-in structure of a full-time job? I'm floundering. [gonk] Like, on the level of, "I should do laundry today... I'll wait till tomorrow though, because why rush it? ... [three days later] Okay, outta clean underwear, I ABSOLUTELY NEED TO DO LAUNDRY... but, well, I don't need to be anywhere until late tomorrow morning, so... early morning laundry, why not?" ... I suck, basically, at disciplining myself without a serious time crunch pushing me. [sweat] Rant over. [:P] But I feel yah, Queenie. [heart] The good thing for me was that I was laid off and had three weeks of vacation paid out, on top of it, so it feels like I've been out of work shorter than it's actually been. [:B] Although I'm itching at this point to have even menial shit! |

Facade, having no job is a bummer! Hopefully the 2nd interview goes well.
And yes, I know your struggle with the laziness that comes from not having a job, hard to keep motivated with the simple chores. Hell, the struggle is real with me having a regular job. Should have enough clean underwear to make it until next weekend and we can do the laundry on Sunday, or Monday. Might even do it Saturday like a couple of rebels and clean the apartment. Deep clean, start off the new year clutter free and sparkly clean. |

I've never had to live where it gets any colder than the 20s. Never lived in the snow, but it can be fun to visit it. |
I am actually used to so much cold!
I was born in the middle of January, it usually gets to he about -20F around this time of year and we usually get mountains of snow! But lately, it's been that we have been getting less and less snow, :( |
