I've never watched Hello Kitty :/

I mean, me neither. Wasn't sure it was a show though I assume since all the kid toys have shows. I just like the merch.

That seems to be the case, yeah. The next question is if the toy came first, or it it was the kid's show....

I remember watching the show once, maybe, and being like "WTF."

I'm fairly certain she's mute, maybe makes odd little animal noises but that's it. So she'd be an insufferable human to invite to parties if all she's gonna do is make incoherent noises while looking so adorable. D: I bet she wouldn't even bring chips and dip!

However, it would be great to dress up as her at a con.

I had a Hello Kitty book as a kid, and I've watched some Hello Kitty episodes before...
I liked it. But I would have never guessed that Hello Kitty was a "Girl" because all of her friends were animals as well...
