*Hime* 01-05-2018 01:42 PM

Oh, you are from across the Channel then?

Mikio 01-05-2018 01:44 PM

Yep! UK

*Hime* 01-05-2018 01:56 PM

Oooh. Only been to London once. But only for work so all I got to see is a glimpse of The House of Parliament and Big ben when heading out of the sub

Mikio 01-05-2018 01:59 PM

Aw! You should try a river cruise, they're brilliant. You'll get to see everything and it's such a wonderful experience

*Hime* 01-05-2018 02:07 PM

Oooh, yes. I did that in Paris once. Was lovely :3
But yes, I wanna go visit London, but it's just so hecka expensive

Mikio 01-05-2018 02:16 PM

I still need to visit Paris. I've been to France several times but we mostly go to rural towns for the summer, which is still very lovely and peaceful<3 Last year we stayed in this country house and they had lots of chickens and geese and a rooster that would cock-a-doodle-do every morning to wake us up x3 super cute

Kat Dakuu 01-05-2018 03:16 PM

Hime's avi is amazing!

I'm been to London and Paris and then up into Scotland and Wales.

hummy 01-05-2018 03:20 PM

aw, Mikio is looking beary cute!

Mikio 01-05-2018 03:24 PM

Lol hummy, I'm trying to figure out pixelling and trying to look at various mene items that's why I'm wearing random stuff. I am literally so clueless, I don't even know what size canvas I'm meant to be working on ;-; or anything really but I wanna try making items T___T

Kat Dakuu 01-05-2018 03:32 PM

The pixeling subforum probably has a lot of tools and suggestions you can look at. Maria has a thread with a lot of stuff.

Mikio 01-05-2018 03:34 PM

I've looked, Kat. But it doesn't say anything about canvas size

---------- Post added 01-05-2018 at 03:36 PM ----------

Maria-Minamino: sorry for the ping, just wondering what canvas size you recommend for pixelling? and do you recommend pixelling straight onto the bases?

The size of the base pictures I have uploaded in my picture is the size of the canvas you need. (I'm pretty sure the picture size is 190 by 135 pixels) I pixel straight onto the base. What program are you using? If you have something with layers - just keep the base on the bottom layer and start pixeling over the top on a second layer. :) If not - I just use MS paint for most of my pixeling and pixel literally right on the base and erase the rest later.

*pokes maria then runs away*
You're also looking very lovely today. Such a golden avi.

I'm using the same program I make my other art with - Clip Studio Paint or Manga Studio. Yes, it does have layers.

That makes it easier :) XD I just make it harder on myself - when I had photoshop, I just used that...but it's easier for me to use MSPaint than the other paint.net program I have so...LOL

Mikio 01-05-2018 04:14 PM

If you used MS Paint to make all your fabulous items then you are really magical XD but it also shows you don't need any fancy programs to make stuff so it's accessible to everyone which is great ^^

Kat Dakuu 01-05-2018 04:17 PM

I think pixeling is that one art you can do with just about anything. Even MS paint.

You're welcome.

Our apartment complex is currently doing a test of the fire alarms. let me tell you how obnoxious that is.
Kat and mine's cats are freaked!

It truly is something that is so accessible and fairly easy to learn! :) That's the great thing! With a little bit of guidance, it was something I picked up fairly quickly!

Exactly! MS Paint is the best for pixels! It's just naturally a pixel program :)
