How do you celebrate the Day, Ava? |
Nia's the twin daughter on Raven's Home.
|
Oh I like Raven |
Ye. She's one of the moms on a new Disney show now.
|
Wow how is that possible that she's a mom |
It surpriseth thee that Raven playeth a mom?
|
Ohh! I remember her!
I have only seen one episode of Raven's Home, which is weird because I was so excited for that show but then I recorded the episodes on my DVR and I forgot all about them... >3< |
I watch Disney like it's my faith, brother.

An Ava would celebrate simple to keep to the real meanings of holidays.
|
Sadar is simple and traditional |
My mind readeth that as "SAY-dar," but I know not what Jewish tradition of which thou speakest, so I cannot correct thy spelling.
|
it is spelled seder |
I don't know the "traditional way of celebrating Kwanzaa...
I think in a traditional sense, there is usually candles that one lights every day, a lot like Hanukkah, and then there is a special table that you put out on Kwanzaa and you put fruit and corn and such on it to symbolize growth or something? When I sang at a Kwanzaa event in 2010, I remember there was a special table with the food and there was a lot of candles around it. :) The food wasn't traditional African food either, it was literally more like African American food, so there was a nice spaghetti with meat sauce, collard greens, cornbread, chicken, etc. I don't think I ate anything. |
that's nice though you start your own tradition. And the Italians always mug muscle in on everyone's tradition with their pasta |
Hahaha, yeah. :D
I don't mind, though... Pasta is good! [drool] |
I'm glad. I would love to make you some homemade pasta. I can make spaghetti I can make gnocchi and I can make some of the thicker strand pastas to PapioDeli although I do think I prefer angel hair pasta and that I can't make there's a couple other ones but I really can't remember the names of them it's like Ocho it has to do with ocular like an eye but I don't really remember the steps that was a little too much information wasn't it? |
Oooh! I didn't know that you made homemade pasta, hummy! That's super cool. :D
My favorite is angel hair too! :d Sooo tasty! |
I like my spaghetti with the seasoningless sauce and meat chunks.
|
Yes, Italians are big into child labor. I also know how to make raviolis and pierogies. I do love eating pasta and I actually do like making it too but it's very labor-intensive it's so much easier just to buy a box |
Hamburger Helper lasagna!
|
Ewwww. Hamburger Helper?! [puke]
I have never liked Hamburger Helper! |
