I believe it dependeth on the body part in mine experience.

secretdae007 12-27-2017 02:55 PM

That could be it. Right now, my feet and hands are freezing, which just brings down everything else. Also does not help that my office has old school radiator heat. Stupid old Victorian houses...

Amane 12-27-2017 02:57 PM

Yes, the hands and feet tend to grow cold easily in the winter.

secretdae007 12-27-2017 03:00 PM

I have been bundled up since before I left the house. I would be wearing my knock off uggs my mom got me but I am too afraid to take them out until I have waterproofed them...

Amane 12-27-2017 03:01 PM

Mine hands are constantly cold in the winter because my keyboard and mouse are cold.

secretdae007 12-27-2017 03:08 PM

I have fingerless gloves at the office just for here.

monstahh` 12-27-2017 03:26 PM

ehhh. dealing with some drama
a friend is mad i couldn't talk to him because of some personal issues (he messaged me once three days in a row, a week and a half ago, and then again last night when I was going to bed, I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get roped into a conversation, but then he messaged me again when i accidently opened fb while checking the time on my phone a few hours later when something woke me up. and got mad i didn't want to talk)

Amane 12-27-2017 03:28 PM

"Toot thine own horn" is a phrase that always manageth to get a laugh out of me.

hummy 12-27-2017 03:35 PM

just call/texr later and explain
tired people need rest =3

monstahh` 12-27-2017 03:35 PM

i know. :(
but he was really pissed and i'm gonna feel bad all day. D:

hummy 12-27-2017 03:39 PM

let me ease your pain.
long story really short.
friend called at 03ish
I talked a bit then
wanted to hang up
friend was hit
and killed.
tragic.
you can fix this later.
*hugs*
just explain =3

secretdae007 12-27-2017 03:56 PM

I mean, my one friend never has time to talk but I can't get mad at her for it. She's just very bad at making time for friends tbh. But that's the understanding of our friendship. I have friends that we don't talk for months at a time.

Just quick message your friend back and say something like "hey, not up for talking and i would really appreciate some patience on this right now. thanks"

hummy 12-27-2017 03:57 PM

yes, this.
crap three days
under weather
talk soon-ish?

i said i couldn't talk now and he immediately went on a short rant and then said "fuck you" a few times -shrugs-
maybe i shouldn't be trying to help this person tho if they're going to be abusive because I've been busy :/

Amane 12-27-2017 06:56 PM

Yeah, that is rather rude of him! Shameful!

hummy 12-27-2017 07:34 PM

Oh that was really mean

monstahh` 12-27-2017 08:06 PM

Well they didn't reply anyway but read what I said.
If he continues to be abusive I'm just going to block and delete him.

hummy 12-27-2017 08:07 PM

what does he need help with?

monstahh` 12-27-2017 08:15 PM

He has some emotional issues going on, and his ex-wife is holding his daughter hostage because they don't have a custody agreement in place, and he can't afford a lawyer to get a custody agreement in place.
Apparently they agreed to share custody verbally before the divorce but never put it in writing...
He was probably upset because he didn't get to see his daughter for christmas, if i had to guess.
