I've never had any full checks though, so I don't know if I have anything else, for all I know I could have something in my brain, or a mental illness...that would be weird...

I take so many danged pills. The worst ones are the Potassium pills.
Like swallowing little boats or something. I've always got low potassium, which is really strange. It can kill you to have too high or too low potassium.

I'm heading out - the thread's moving too fast for me - Night everyone ^.^ <3
The HPV vaccine wasn't mandatory.
They vaccinate children against polio and chickenpox which still exist in this world today. If there was an outbreak at a school, it would be devastating to the curriculum. And any adults who went to school at a period when vaccinations weren't mandatory could contract something like shingles, which can be fatal.

So again, if you decide to be in the medical profession, you sign a contract with a private company (hospital) to work for them. In this contract, because you are now working for them, you are obligated to go through the necessary vaccinations and procedures to ensure that you don't become a liability to the hospital. This of course, is if they have specifically state that you must receive the vaccination or risk being terminated.

It's a deficiency, but not deficient.

People with impairments? Handicapped is nicer than deficient. Sorry I did this module as part of my uni course and it's kind of overtaken my mind.

My Grandma and my Great-Grandma had diabetes. They said diabetes was what caused the problems that killed my Grandma, my Great-Grandma died from septicaemia.

I'm pre-diabetic right now. I've cut out a lot of sweets, but it's hard.
I'm worried about my next blood test.
My mother had a procedure and she almost became diabetic. She had to work very diligently to lower her cholesterol (which was raised from medication) and fix her thyroid.

Oh gosh, I couldn't imagine cutting out sweets to a minimum; good luck, and I hope you don't become diabetic.

Oh yes, I've heard shingles is painful.

I was only like 15-16 if I remember correctly.
And I was lucky to have 'em across my ribs, and not in a spot like...under arms, like my mom's friend did. XD
That would have been horribly painful! D:

Yea, I've never had a cholesterol problem.
It's just my sugar that's been on the high side (around 115 lately).

So now I'm cutting back. Gads but I miss my sweets. I have such a sweet tooth!

No, I don't think it's tough. Maybe it's because I work in a professional environment with the State, where I HAVE TO keep a lid on what I say to others. But aside from that, I was taught DAY ONE to not say anything mean to the person when they are there, based on how they would take it.

Are you still able to eat fruits? It's still very sugary, but I don't know if it'd contribute to a high blood sugar as much as something like a slice of cake would.

The stuff I read online about prediabetes said that you can eat as much fruit as you want.

My Grandma said she was allowed dark chocolate. I'm not sure if she just wanted to get chocolate or if its actually true. :XD

Well, I have to admit that I still eat my dark chocolate covered pomegranets.

I mean, that's fruit, right? And dark chocolate is good for you too, right?

Pretty sure it still has sugar. XD

But it probably has less sugar than 'milk' chocolate.

Dark Chocolate has less sugar than any chocolate, and is real chocolate. (Milk chocolate is mostly artificial plasticy stuff - the reason dogs can't eat milk chocolate). A little dark chocolate doesn't hurt even if the person's diabetic.
