I love being in big company musicals, although I'm not entirely sure how big of a cast RENT calls for, really. We did Beauty and the Beast my sophomore year, and it was... just so perfect. So flawless, so... amazing! Everything anyone ever wanted, and then some! Our seniors that year were perfect for the parts; our Belle looked like Belle, our Beast looked like Beast, our Lumiere looked like Lumiere... -sigh- Good times, good times! |

That was about the size of the cast of our production of Little Shop of Horrors my Freshman year. Hardly anyone got in! It was a great show, though. :lol: I've only been in Beauty and the Beast, although we did Seussical last year... I didn't even bother to go and see it, 'cause I just didn't care enough. We're doing the Wizard of Oz this year, although I'm probably not going to be in it since I'm feeling like I want a low-key second semester. Facade needs a break. @[email protected]; And as for plays... We actually did The Wonderful Wizard of Oz my Freshman year - I was a flying monkey, although I dropped out because I was bored and lazy. It's quite odd and symbolic that we've started and are now ending our high school career with the Wizard of Oz... >_< Then we did Rebel Without a Cause my sophomore year, in which I was some gang member. Then there was Pride and Prejudice last year... I was Mr. Collins! 8D I totally loved the part. I was such a fantastic creeper, if I do say so myself. And this year, we're doing Stage Door, which is what that new movie Fame is loosely based off of. I'm the male lead! ;'D Which isn't saying much, because the male parts are rather small, overall. @Face- Heh, well, not many people at our school like the performing arts, so 20 is a decent amount.... We did Chicago my freshman year, that was WAY bigger... like, 30. xD As was Footloose, which was last year.
We had, like, 10 for the play my freshman year. xD Our plays are never as popular as the musicals. In Chicago, I was company, the tailor, and one of the two girls that gets shot while in bed with that one guy. xD In Footloose, I was Urleen. It was SO GREAT! :heart: @Ry- Yeah... I still wish I could actually be Joanne, though. I can't believe a sophomore got it over me! She hasn't even been in any plays before this! She hasn't paid her dues! Winter-I agree with you there on that one. I can barely stand to log on anymore because all the free items are eyesores and the only desirable items cost ridiculous amount of gold or RL money....X.X
