I'm watching Speeders for lack of anything better to do, and the guy said that it was a dangerous time to be on the road. I misheard it as 'a dangerous time to pee on the road'.

So, what things have you misheard?

I mishear things all the time, 'cause I have a tendency to not pay attention.

So I've heard a lot of strange, often sexual, things that weren't actually said.

Like I once heard, "Will you please patch my penis?" And I asked, "Why? Is it ripped?" And the guy looked at me weird. Turns out he had asked me to pass him the bowl of peanuts. :rofl:

lol. There have been a lot of things I misheard, but after I hear what they actually said, I tend to forget what it was about xD. I'm a failure ._. lol

Mishearing things can be really funny, for everyone involved. Unless you mishear directions to somewhere or something like that.

Haha. Those're good ones. I know a couple months ago I was talking to a group of scottish people, and I could hardly understand a single word that they were saying! So half the time I would just nod and they'd kinda look at me funny, so I'd say I don't know. And they'd be like, Why not? And I'd just shake my head. I felt bad for constantly saying 'What?" any time they would say anything!

That's not really mishearing as I meant it. Not understanding at all and mistaking something said for something else are kinda different.

I seriously thought it was my painkillers that made me hear that. I listened to it again after the painkillers had worn off and still heard it, so I looked up the lyrics and was amazed that I hadn't been dreaming. XD
