We use Cheese Curds(the place we get them from in turn gets them from Quebec), and then the chef uses a Mushroom sauce on it. It's actually quite a nice dish that they get...though if I ever got it, I would want a Pepper Steak on it, not just a regular steak. [ninja]

EEEEW! Brown sauce is a no-no at this restaurant! The only thing that you could call a brown sauce, is one of our unfinished sauces. We take it, and add an equal amount of Whipping Cream, and the 1/4 of the volume of the Demi(the unfinished sauce) worth of Dijon Mustard....so good. [drool]

That's at lunch. And its technically not on the menu. We don't have anything like that really. We have a steak sandwich that has Cafe de Paris on the bun, with a Pepprenada(spicy red pepper relish) on top of it. We used to do the Cafe de Paris on a Steak Frites that had a Red Wine Reduction Sauce on it....which is kinda like a brown gravy. xD

@Shania I completely missed your comment somehow...but it actually isn't sweet at all. Since the Whipping Cream we use is in the milk carton still, so there is no added sugar.

I know all about the diabetic thing...as long as I watch what I eat/drink I'm all good. Since I'm borderline I don't need to take insulin at all(thankfully). Before I found out I was borderline, I would eat so much candy, and drink so much pop...now, well, Ive had a 591mL bottle of Pepsi for about 3 days now...and I just passed the 1/2 way mark. Though, with the amount of time I spend on my feet running around, I actually should be fine drinking one every 2-3 days...just I have no desire to do that anymore.
