I like using backgrounds as well, but when I don't have a good lower ground to stand on with the background having a higher bottom, I just don't feel right using it. Like I'm okay with my current scene, but it doesn't feel like it's realistic enough for me, though a couple of the items I could use to help get that feeling for me are CIs that I don't have.
