Oh God, Shin-Chan is probably the worst anime I've ever watched....

I found the Dinosaur King anime pretty bad. It was like it tried so hard to be Bakugan and failed miserably. And superpowered dinosaurs didn't really sound epic to me. I prefer dinosaurs portrayed as close to real life as possible.

I've never heard of Dinosaur King, but it's like Bakugan, Yu-Gi-Oh and those other anime made to promote a game of some kind, then I can't imagine it to be any good either...

Bakugan has a certain je-ne-sais-quoi that makes it look exciting. It could be something in the character designs, I dunno really. New Vestroia (2nd season) had some cool and surprisingly complex villains.
