You study the atmosphere and it's patterns, and if you're going to be a weatherman/woman, you take broadcast and journalism classes. You also get to study physics, mathematics, and chemistry :)

I have a mind for numbers (I do algebra to relax) so I'm pretty good at accounting. In class anyway :)

Oh I see! Is that what you are aiming for in the future? A weather man? Haha, its so science and math heavy! I really didn't know that you had to take that many classes for it honestly.

Oh lucky you, numbers get all jumbled up in my head! :S I think algebra is fine, but anything past that is horrid for me. And I especially despise word problems. haha It is such a handy talent. >U<

I would rather be someone behind the camera helping the weatherman :) I might be willing to do it on radiostations or the newspaper but not infront of the camera lol Right now, I'm working on finishing my accounting degree so I can afford to go to college to be a meteorologist :)

@ Super - I can be a weatherman here... 50% chance of clouds, 20% chance of sun, 30% chance of fog.
There is a 10% chance of rain every hour in the winter and a 5% chance of rain every hour in the summer.

@Poet Our weather is much less stable lol at least you have rain chances period! Actually weather prediction isn't that hard if you pay attention to the weather patterns from week to week, month to month, season to season! Do you need to know a little atmospheric science as a plane designer?

@Royal No, I'm not double-majoring yet. Meteorology isn't offered near me so I have to move to go to school for it. Since I can't have a job yet to save up, I'll have to wait a couple of years to start it. Might as well get that accounting degree to get me through while I get my weather degree :)

I go outside, breathe in, and predict the weather. I can smell the amount of water in the air.
