I just wanted to say "Hi!" to the thread before I got off. Boo and I only have a little time before we have to leave and I had to play in the Halloween revelry before we left. So, with that I'm also saying TTFN! Have fun all. 80D

Saravi Boo 11-04-2012 06:49 PM

Hello everyone! ^_^ *huggles all* Back from church. ^_^

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 07:19 PM

Hi Boo! I'm back from... The living room. ^^;

llonka 11-04-2012 07:21 PM

church sounds fun. we should really go back.

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 07:22 PM

Zig hasn't been to church in a while. She feels bad...

llonka 11-04-2012 07:26 PM

llonka doesn't have a home church anymore. [sweat]

Saravi Boo 11-04-2012 07:32 PM

We have church again tonight too. I like church. ^_^ I hope you two find good home churches soon too. It took us forever to find one but we are really happy with ours.

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 07:35 PM

I'm in a very Chinese area so they don't really have many churches here. I found one but it was for Mormons.

llonka 11-04-2012 07:41 PM

aww that good boo. our problem is hubby is Catholic but i'm Baptist.

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 07:43 PM

My fiance is technically Catholic but that doesn't matter to him too much. I don't really agree with some of the Catholic teachings...

llonka 11-04-2012 07:48 PM

i don't either Zig, but my hubs says he won't go anywhere but a catholic church.

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 07:56 PM

Technically he isn't even Catholic anymore since you married him. As far as I know, Catholics can only marry Catholic or they are excommunicated from the church. You should have had to convert to Catholicism for that not to happen.

Saravi Boo 11-04-2012 07:58 PM

That's not good. O_o' Mormons have some decidedly...odd beliefs. My best friend was raised Mormon.

Well, you could go without him Llonka. *shrugs* Maybe if you start going he'll eventually come around. I don't agree with a lot of the Catholic doctrine.

oops i bet he doesn't know that. BAHHAHA!!

true, boo. i really want to take the boys to church. they need to.

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 08:02 PM

@ Boo: Yeah, I definitely don't want to go there. V_V

@ Ilonka: Yeah... That's one of the many reasons why I don't really do the Catholic thing. ^^;

llonka 11-04-2012 08:06 PM

huh i really doubt he knows that. we had no time for me to convert though. all well.

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 08:11 PM

The Catholics are so strict about everything...

llonka 11-04-2012 08:15 PM

yeah they really are. maybe that's why his grandma doesn't go to mass anymore. she'd rather watch it on TV.

zigbigadorlube 11-04-2012 08:19 PM

OMG. I could never get into televangelism. V_V

Saravi Boo 11-04-2012 10:05 PM

Take the boys with you. *shrugs*

My father-in-law used to watch tv preachers all the time. ^_^ Some of them are okay but some seem a bit more interested in their viewers' wallets than in their spiritual health. >_<'

It isn't the same as having a home church anyway. A good church should be a like a family. Ours definitely is. I'd invite you both to attend but I think the drive might be a bit much for you. ^_^'

If you are worried about your boys Llonka you should definitely take them to church, hubby on board or not. You can't let the Catholic/Baptist stalemate keep them from learning about Jesus. I was raised baptist and it's a pretty good place to start down the right path. ^_^ Of course, I'm now pentecostal and my family sort of thinks I'm crazy but that is neither here nor there. [:P]

And before anyone asks, I'm not the kind of pentecostal that handles snakes. >_<'
