I've milked a goat once.

Oh yeah? I've always wanted to try milking a cow...just to do it. I had fun with the goat. I was staying on a farm in Amish country, and they let me do that....I also got some recipes from the owner's wife that I still use constantly.

Eveeeeent! Oh... woody you must have milked a nice goat. I think that our goats got tired of being milked twice a day, every day. But then if you didn't milk them their bags looked like they were gonna explode. >.> Oooh. Amish people. I'd do that. I wonder if they'd accept me...

Lol, their bags. Haha. Yes, they would. And it was a nice goat. A stumpy pigmy goat.

And I would do the Amish thing, but I think without a bit of make up annnnd technology....I'd go mad. That and the whole hardcore religious thing and shunning people thing they do. I just think it's awesome that they've managed to preserve that sort of society for so long and inspite of all the outside influences....but it's not for me. I'd rock living on a farm of some sorts, but only if at the end of the day, I was close to a place where I could get Indian food, or go to see belly dancing or a show.....

I don't know. I'd be fine without makeup or technology. Life would be so much simpler. I just don't know if I'd want to do the female role and wear dresses everywhere and stuff. I like working with my hands and doing physical stuff like building and cutting wood and plowing fields! D: Yeah. They are pretty hardcore religious but... what is that thing they do as teens? Where they go out for a year and decide if they want to live in the world or come back... ugh. I can't think of the name. Belly dancing eh? Maybe what happens behind closed doors there.... *wink, wink*

Yes! A rumspringa. But, if they decide to leave their community, they are treated as if they never existed. So, you lose your family if you don't want to return. O.o
I agree though, I like doing physical things like that too. But, the cool stuff like that is pretty much for the men and boys. As an Amish lady, you'd be collecting eggs, milking cows, cooking, cooking, sewing, cooking.

Hmm. I wonder what the kiddo would think about it if I did that? XD But... I didn't know they did that type of thing in Vermont. Then again... they are pretty liberal so I guess all forms of art are appreciated.

Yeah! Rumspringa. Yeah, I know. But at least they have an exit and an option. Say that they were abused and crap and they didn't want to come back anyway. Or that they just had really great scientific ideas that are scorned in their community. Yeah.. all that lady crap is boring. I don't think I could do all that. I'd be trying to drown in the milk after a while. [lol] The guys do get to do all the fun things. And sit around and smoke pipes! Not that I want to but... and they grow beards! Lol. Yes, I did that when I was up in college in Vermont, at both my colleges. There is a lot of fun stuff like that up there. They have it where I am now too, but it's so much more expensive >.<

Really? My sister went to college up there for about half a semester but... I think she was in a more strict college so she didn't have freedoms like that. Oh man... I don't think I'm coordinated enough for that. You go ahead woody, knock yourself out with that abdominal work out O_O

Hey Keres!!! I'm happy to actually be on it more now, I was a bit way laid earlier in the event!

Oh? What school? I went to Southern Vermont in Bennington, then the University of Vermont in Burlington....I love Burlington. It's such a nice, friendly city.
Also, that means I'm gonna call you Captain Hammer now.
Annnd I am 5'11/6'....kinda on the cusp... Either way, I am tall-y mc-tallerton. But, I'm also a curvy lady, so.... bleh.

It was a military college. I don't remember the name. The second largest one. Ooooh, sounds like a nice college woody :D Nice (small?) friendly towns don't come often around colleges. Usually they are.. dirty and... lots of drinking and partying.

Most people round up and don't beleive that I'm ONLY 6' 1/5" They are always like, No way, you're at least 6'5" or 6'6" =.=

That's great to hear Woodland :) The last two days I have been boogying and posting my tush off because I really slacked the first two days. But XD I have been having lots of fun :3

Huh. I dunno of a military school in Vermont, I'd have to look it up. Yes, Burlington was small, but it's the smallest, largest city in a state (if that makes sense)..... There is a nice downtown walking only street lined with shops and restaurants, and you can walk down from the college (there are a few of them) on the hill down to the Lake Champlain waterfront where there are parks, an aquarium, and just lots of pretty. Not to mention my favorite crepe shop is down by the water. ;) There was ALWAYS live music somewhere/ multiple places....Lots of vegetarian and vegan food stuffs. (I'm not vegetarian, but yummy anyways)

BUT, since I'm so tall, it's ok. Could be worse....But I would love to lose a bit and get into better shape, like I was when I was playing more sports.
