If I had the funds, I'd pick up a set. And yeah, $400 a piece is crazy. I couldn't pay that much for them.

Yeah - but unfortunately they're like, $400 a piece instead of $60 a piece like they were when they came out :(
I have found some around $200 - but that's still a lot!
And I can't guarantee the condition, ya know?
90% of the people don't accept returns :(

They should be - at least the dolls are - there's only 13,000 of each world-wide - so I would assume they're in every country?
Not 100% sure though lol!

I have some pretty mixed feelings about disney right now, and I don't mean only the star wars acquisition right now either :d

like, they tried to make sequels to their classics and sadly a few are not very good :(

Exactly - I mean, I just paid $500 for a set of 6 - they're crazy if they think I'm paying that much for just ONE doll!!

well.. i don't see jackign the price almost to 3k DURING the event that's just.. rediculus why pay that when you can earn up a few tokens.. and buy it that way.. i mean sure buying htem is quicker with gold...if you hav eit if you don't cheaper with tokens.. so i just did the smart hting and did them for less thent heother guys >_>

I feel that way about Cinderella as well - the sequels just didn't even coincide with the movie - they jumped all around with time frames, and then the 3rd one just disregarded the fact that the 2nd one existed in the first place - that bothered me as well :3

I still adore Disney though - I don't think I could ever hate them unless they did something beyond terrible!

I try to just consider each 'movie' a different story .. just witht he same characters in it.. other wise it just gets to..dumb..

I completely agree - I mean, they may say it's from a smoke free home, but when it comes in it could smell like incense or something - and I'm highly allergic to both :(
Or they could come in damaged, and there's no way to exchange or get a refund, and there you just forked over $400 - ya know?
There's just so much indefinite and possibilities that it makes you nervous to buy - even if they do post pics :/
But then again, millions of people have great luck on eBay!
So it's kind of hard to decide :(

That's what I try to do as well, but I still register it as a sequel so it bugs me lol
I also do it for movies that are based on books - I think of the books and movies as separate so I can enjoy both :3
