How does one boil a pumpkin...? Is more of it edible than I was taught?

Only the skin isn't edible. Though most people toss the "guts" . But from what i understood reading around it was also edible. (i still tossed the guts myself though and trimmed off just the skin )

i made italian pumpkin seeds too :] and we're gonna bake our other pumpkins later and make pumpkin pie.

There were some pretty dang gorgeous pumpkins up there. I may have to figure out how to use those pumpkin tools and get me a few

I've only ever used the jagged knife and the thin one. I'm not very crafty and I gave up pumpkin carving with the way my skin reacts to it now.

What got me was that it went bad 3 days later :(
