xD it's my first Mene event so I'm a little too excited

I'm tempted to buy all of the Lazarus commons in red and black, I wish they had a multi-version that includes either all colors of one item or all items of one color. Would be easier on inventory.

I tend to buy commons on an as-I-need-them basis, so I tend to not use my gold on commons. :3

I might end up buying all the commons this time. When I like an item, I try to get all the colors of it now. The more colors I have, the happier I am.

I only have 8 items xD and most were gifts from Whimz. I don't tend to buy anything unless I REALLY want it. Though I'm going to try and get all the event rares!

That does sound like a ton of fun. xD I've never played a straight up dungeon-crawling fantasy game like that (not in tabletop, anyway). Most of my tabletop experience has been with supernatural horror (Monsterhearts, Monster of the Week, Black Stars Rise, Urban Shadows, and a few others that don't use the Apocalypse engine).

I mean, I've played Chuubo's Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine, and that's fantasy. But it's sort of themed that a multiverse crashed into one world, so my character was actually from our world. And I've played a little of Exalted, but our game was mostly about the Solars crashing airships. (I played a Sidereal and I just barely made contact with my Solars when the game folded.) I GMed Golden Sky Stories, but that's set in the modern world too, even if the player characters are henge (supernatural creatures that can turn themselves from foxes into fox-boys/girls, to boys/girls).

My POINT is I'd love a good bit of fun dungeon crawling and doing the traditional D&D type stuff. I keep getting sick or busy whenever someone in my usual group is running Dungeon World or one of the other indie games they usually run.

Items will come to you eventually, Liquid. It's all about perseverance and lots of posting! :3

The good thing is, you only need to make about 18 posts a day to earn all the event rares! (That's not including any tokens you earn from playing and winning at Chance.)

So as long as you find yourself some chatty people to hang out with, you'll have plenty enough for the event rares and more left over to get yourself some free commons. :3

I tend to save my tokens for the EIs only. :p I feel that they're better spent that way, but others may disagree.

I always save my tokens for the EIs first too. If I can, I try to get two sets (one for me and one for my mule) and after that I spend them on commons. Or save them for the next event, depending on how I feel.

I like buying lots of sets of EIs to save, as an investment, I suppose. :p

I'm cheap. xD; Like, as a rule.

I make sure I have enough tokens for the EIs, then I start spending on commons, going from the most expensive that I want to the least expensive that I want. If I have enough left over, I'll buy extra EIs or commons I haven't got yet. >___>;

I should post with my mule this event too. There are some commons I think he'd look good in.

I like the idea of starting with the most expensive items first, CK. :) Makes getting the cheaper items all at once more satisfying.

Until now my posting was mostly limited to threads with Whimz (our roleplay, OOC, and her shop). But I'm going to take advantage of this event and build up my gold along with the taters.

@CK It is a lot of fun, assuming your DM can handle all the out-of-the-ordinary actions xD he had to come up with roll difficulties and what not on the fly, so it takes someone who's creative and very good at balancing. I still think we got extremely lucky to find him, I've never had another DM who was as good as he was. I haven't played any tabletops aside from D&D, but I don't think any others would really hold my interest, and I really like the rule-set and gameplay of D&D.

Events are definitely a good time to earn taters, Liquid. I'm also glad that you've decided to come out of just your roleplays! The rest of menewsha is really fun. :)

If only the event started before I started my new job. haha.

@Elirona Yeah, my roleplay with Whimzica is the only reason I joined Mene really, but as I said before; the more I explore the more I find myself enjoying it! Likes the layout, the people, and so far the event looks incredibly fun (will find out as the games begin :3).
