Nostalgia Critic just reviewed that movie a few weeks ago. [rofl]

The only good thing about this Stephen King directed movie was the AC/DC soundtrack.

I had never heard of it before, ever, before seeing that review. xD

I watched it a long while back, recently rewatched it like a month or so ago again, and think it's an alright movie. It's nothing spectacular. It is the only Stephen King movie directed by him. Maximum Overdrive is the main reason why you don't see him directing any of his other works.

Nostalgia Critic has a pretty solid theory about what Stephen King's intentions are for the film. Still, though I found the review amusing, I have no intentions of watching the movie. xD

I mostly watched it out of curiosity and the fact it had Emilio Estevez in it. I really only care about him now in the Billy the Kid movies and the Mighty Ducks.

But on a note related to horror or thrilling scary films. Duel, a TV movie turned a theatrical film, which was Spielbergs first true film is a good movie to give a watch if you have never seen it. Nothing like a scary truck to torment you and try to kill you.

I've seen clips of it, but never watched it properly! I did hear it was actually pretty good, especially for a first film.

It's a good 70s feeling movie that does thrills in a good way. I've been a fan of it for a long while as well. Quite a couple years. Looks even better on Bluray.

Also, yeah, that truck is scary. Older trucks = scariest things for movies that attempt to scare you.
