Several staffers worked together on the Fairgrounds and Festival Tent avatars. :3 I think they both turned out pretty swank too. :3 (I hope I remember to save them after the event and post them in the threads - just so people can see what they looked like if they visit the threads after the event closes.)

Yes, he usually keeps to himself. I can relate, IRL I hardly talk to anyone who isn't a close friend. In my small town, sometimes I get in trouble for not being more friendly and outgoing. [cry]

Yeeaaaah... I don't get out much unless I'm traveling, honestly. I'm a writer and sometimes do freelance writing, so my job is at home. All my "local" friends moved away and are no longer local. So except for errands or trips, I don't really have an incentive to leave the house. >____>; I'm totally a hermit.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a hermit too, since I'm doing school online and living in a rural area. If it's weren't for my part time jobs, I would probably never get out. I'm pretty introverted, so I like spending time alone, but I get crazy when I spend too much time at home. [sweat]

Mostly because one is a contest, which will probably attract a lot of fast chatting. But there are also users who like the hangouts, but don't so much like super fast chat, so I decided two was the way to go. (Also, Halloween is usually busy enough that two official hangout threads work. Slower events and it'd be too much.)
