[rofl] Cornrows! It's just a bunch of rows of braids. The "bald" spots are where the hair is parted to make separate braids.
/also, you get dreadlocks when you separate your hair with beads, bands, whatever /and then just leave it alone forever African hair is the big curly stuff that makes afros~ A lot of African girls will wear extensions over their hair because it's easier to manage. I wear natural, though. I deal with it. My hair doesn't make an afro. It's… a triangle.
