Haha yeah, but then sometimes humans can be stupid and bundle them up in sweaters and stuff when it's only mildly chilly and you'd see those poor things lying around with their tongue hanging out. Doesn't help that the people around here are generally very much not tolerant towards the cold and they think everything else is also like that. >___> |
well the dog does need the sweater when it's in the negatives outside.
because he likes to sit out there for like an hour and refuses to come in. so sweater it is. it's going to be so fun to see his reaction to snow for the very first time. |

Australian Shepherds do, because the fur can get too thick between his paw pads and cause problems.
and we don't want any of the fur getting matted or anything, so small trims are good for him, despite the weather. |

and if you don't trim the hair around the paw pads during snow season, it can cause a lot of damage~

the snow can cause clumps and freeze between the pawpads. which is super painful.

Tana has no clue how hot or cold that is XD
Tana is American, and because we feel the need to be different we don't use Celsius like just about the rest of the world. |
Uh...I have no idea what temperature that would be in Fahrenheit either, and I'm feeling too lazy to go use Google to check. XD |
