I had the lap band surgery in late April, there are certain foods that I can no longer consume. Breads is one of those foods. Popcorn is all right, which is a good thing because I am definitely eating some tonight when we go to the movies.

Nope, pasta is not recommended. So I avoid. Stick mostly to the proteins these days.

Truthfully, I only really miss pizza. Don't get me wrong, loved pasta, but I LOVED pizza more.

You'd be surprised after not having it for a long time you start to not really crave it.

Yeah, it's kind of a habit thing. Once you cut it out, you stop craving it.

Lots of things cause gout, but protein is the base for my diet these days. I'll be sure to watch out for the gout.

I'm a very habitual person so, habits come and go. I used to eat a lot of red meat, now it's a very rare craving. Currently it's pasta, god knows what it'll be next. xD

I came back from the casino and took a shower right away.
(I hate that smoke smell) So I just put my jammies on instead of getting dressed again. |

When I started on my diabetic diet, I cut out most carbs, and ate a lot of protein.
Then I got gout. Man...gout really HURTS! So I cut back on the protein, and added some carbs. You really do need some carbs in your diet. |
