Tumblr queue is pretty easy. xD

Just "queue" something and depending on how you have your queue settings set, it'll repost automatically. So, for me, most of my blogs are set to post 1 post from the queue a day at around 7pm central. So if I have 50 items in the queue, I know it's not going to run out for 50 days.

I like "schedule" too. My art blog uses the scheduled post to release my Patreon art at the proper time. (I post the picture at Patreon for my patrons to see for a week or so, then repost to my blog.) I scheduled Halloween stuff to show up on Halloween on other blogs, and so on. xD

Oooh. I usually just post something right away. Why queue something though? Is it for like for others to not be wondering where you went and still be able to see regular updates or something?

And what's the difference between queue and schedule?

No worries. xD It took me some time to figure things out too!

But, yeah. xD I use queue and schedule so I don't have to worry if I get busy or forget. It just does its thing for me. So my tumblr blogs stay active and anyone following me doesn't go, "well, better take this blog off my follow list. it's dead". It also keeps me from "flooding" my followers. They'll know I only post 1 a day or 3 a day or whatever I have it set at and not log in to have everything I found that day on their own dashboards. xD (Some people don't mind. Some people do.)

Differences between queue and schedule... Hmm.

Okay - say I know that I want to post something on a certain day (a Halloween image on Halloween, for example). Rather than shoving everything into my queue and figuring out how many pictures I need in the queue so the one I want to show on Halloween shows up on Halloween rather than before or after, I just type in the date and time, "10/31/14, 7pm" and it'll show up at 7pm on Halloween, no fuss, no muss. xD

So if I were to ever do something like a weekly comic, I could draw everything in advance and just schedule the posts so they posted "every Wednesday" (or whatever I decided to do).

And I queue my Tumblr posts too! :D And I just realized the word queue repeats the ue twice. XD I don't know why that's interesting, but it is.

My costume will likely look the same every year since I only have a few things that I can use to dress up with. ;;

How does one pronounce queue, by the way? I read it as 'cue'.

I use to pronounce it quarry for some reason, but my mom informed me several years back it was cue, so I pronounce like that now.

Oh, good that I managed to pronounce it right, since it isn't a word I learned before with any hearing assistance.

I always get nervous about pronouncing some words if I've never heard them before. My worst part is spelling them though, I was always awful at it. If it wasn't for spell check, I would have a lot of misspelled words on here, lol. And sometimes I even wonder about words I think I know the pronunciation for. My mot recent example being a game my sister and I are thinking of checking out, Lucent Heart, my sis swears it's pronounced LU-cent, but I pronounce it lu-CENT. I'm fairly sure mine is right, but she's so adamant, she makes me question, lol.

Yeah, I've pronounced a lot of words incorrectly before, what with English being my second language and all. Without spellcheck I'd be so screwed. ;;

I remember pronouncing 'canary' as 'CAN-a-ree' or something, but it was actually 'can-NARY'...or was it the other way around? Kind of hard to ask someone to confirm for me since I'm not living in the states anymore. ;;;;

I hate grammar, but can't stand misspelling or putting that grammar in wrong, I'll always correct myself if I can. It such a double edged sword, lol.

lol My grammar is horrible too. I've never learned it properly. Which is giving me hell right now in class because everyone else knows it and the instructor things that you should know it already so whenever they go off into specific details on grammar I'm totally lost.

I still don't understand everything about grammar, I just kind of fake it, I always gravitated to art and home EC, lol.

The only things I know about grammar are what verbs and nouns are. The rest, I have no idea.

What about adjectives.

Uh. I...think I know what they are? Wouldn't be able to point them out in a sentence though.
