It is how I link things up in my research, when certain history breaks out.
Example. I was researching a certain building's history.
at year 1982, there was a rennovation.
year 1985, two more classes added. (that building was served as a school before)
in between that, no record. I was tempted to put the rennovation was to cater for the additional classes, but lecturer advised not to as there is no written record of that. The renovation could be for maintanance also.
