Kay, do you live in the US? JoAnn's always has sales and coupons, that's how I get my yarn for a decent price. They also just revamped their personal line of yarn and it's so soft and awesome!

I live in the us. There's two stores in town where I can buy yarn. The one blanket I'm working on is just using a basic acrylic yarn the other is an acrylic/alpaca blend yarn from the local craft store here in town. They don't carry it but they'll order yarn in for people if they need it. I've already had to order more yarn once already.
