This is my first American Halloween. |
Moonlit, I was working a contract job and they were saying that after my contract was extended in October to November they were going to try and pull me in full time and then Tuesday came and at the end of the day the manager told me it was my last day in that office. Her reasoning for letting me go was because I wasn't fast enough, with enough experience, however, when my recruiter called she told me that all the contractors were let go by Fidelity because they are getting ready to go public. Sucks.
Already registered for unemployment Wednesday morning, updated my resume and started getting it out there. Hence my overwhelmed feelings. We're not doing anything for it because I'm a doof and missed out on tickets for the showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary but oh well. Hollywood Boulevard was/ is so busy! It's fun seeing everyone dressed up. There's some interesting costumes.. and people. It's nice to see people get Into things.

Wow, I didn't realize you were in Hollywood, that's an all together different kind of Halloween experience. I've honestly never been down there during Halloween myself and I lived in Southern California for years.

Hm, I can't really give you any advice/recommendation on coming since I don't know my halloweens at all haha. I would like to experience more of a neighbourhood feel of Halloween. You know like kids actually trick or treating.
