Gosh, this Halloween event had always been a great big first challenge of my NaNoventure.

For me it actually helps. I write in between posting, and thw switching back and forth helps me stay focused.

I have too many distractions as it is... T___T

I know the feeling... I've got work and my games... and I'm prince in one of them, so it is a major distraction.

Prince? What kinda game?

As in, prince of the realm, or the artist formerly known as prince?

As in Prince of the Domain, which means all the vampires with in Yorkshire (It's a Dark Ages game set at the turn of the 13th century)

Sounds pretty interesting. No wonder it's a distraction. :) Sounds like a nicer distraction than schoolwork. Anyone else here have to deal with school on top of NaNo?

For the first time ever, I am not at school during NaNo. It's making me quite optimistic

Sweet! :) This is the first NaNo I've done with a full course load, so it's going to be a bit of a challenge this year. Still, I've gotten past 50k every year since 2010. I'm pretty optimistic too. Have you been doing prep-work for this NaNo or are you going to wing it?

Oh I have prepped my little heart out. I have about a hundred pages of a notebook filled, an outline for 76 chapters.... I went quite extreme this year

The last things I wrote were 2 grant proposals and a major edit-rewrite of a short article. I write at work no energy to write when I get home. XD

@Bearzy - Wow! Looks like you've got everything all set up. November'll go smoothly for you!

@~Longcat~ - You should totally do it. Even if you don't aim for 50k or don't make it for 50k, it's a really worthwhile experience.

My muses have been dicks lately. One refuses to be part of the plot (despite him being the main character), one wants to be 18 again (instead of nearly 50), one wants the story to be set in fantasy knight setting instead, and two who aren't in the story at ALL want me to write about being mobsters which they aren't. XD
Even if I was to write and join NANO no one is cooperating.
