Chunsa-chan 03-17-2007 07:42 AM

I lost twenty pounds just by cutting down on the amount of soda I drank, and playing pump-it-up. XD

*Does a jig*

seripha 03-17-2007 07:42 AM

Azure - Spit it out? The strips won't come with it.

  • I became one, in short, because I'm sick of the exploitation of animals for our ( human ) selfish needs, and I'm sick of animal cruelty, especially towards those who are being skinned alive for coats, or who are burned and have their throats slit while still alive at the slaughter house.

    I'll stop before I get too graphic. ( Oops... )

    Sometimes people become Vegan only because others do it, or because it's cool, or because they want to seem environmentally friendly. But not me !

    The weight loss was most def a perk.

    Seiki; I've been meaning to lose some more weight for a while, and after that 1o lbs, I've only got 1o more lbs to go until I'm pretty damn pleased with myself :3

    I currently weigh 14o lbs, which some would say is an OK weight, but I don't like it. XD;

It's the Korean version of DDR. It has five steps to DDR's four.

One in each cornor, and then one in the middle.

Azure 03-17-2007 07:44 AM

    @ Seiki; ooh how much shades of whiter?

seripha 03-17-2007 07:44 AM

That's cool to know. I have to say, I love meat but I do eat organic and free range. I really try to avoid brands that I know are totally bad when it comes to looking after the animals etc.

How tall are you though?

Logan - I'd say about three so far, because my teeth were already pretty clean, but I brush my teeth like crazy also. 6 times a day <3

>n<

I hated having to watch those videos when they showed them at school.

I occasionally 'tossed cookies' after the class, and wouldn't be able to eat much for week(s) after

  • XD;

    A great part of being Vegan ( well, starting out being one... you lose weight at first, but you stop eventually ) is that I can eat whatever I want and still lose weight.

    I always brag to my girlfriends, because they're eating salads ( yum ) and counting calories, and I'm eating Chinese food four times a week and losing weight :3

    I found this funny XD;

I'd really like to try becoming a vegetarian (because meat doesn't really appeal to me anymore. I just eat it because it's what my parents buy :'[

I could never go vegan though. I needs me some dairy <3

Tabi Kat 03-17-2007 07:50 AM

Generally though you don't want to brush your teeth too much, you actually can strip your teeth of the things it needs. Just like American's actually bathe too much, striping important oils from their skin so they have to replace them with lotions and the like.

seripha 03-17-2007 07:50 AM

Keeyats - are you worried that the chinese food you eat is cooked with beef or chicken broth, etc? I know some really hard core vegans who won't eat a lot of candy because one of the gumming products in them is made from animals.

Hm. I would say 135 would be ok, but anything under that might be pushing it. Just don't go till you're stick and bones. That's a bad thing.

-wishes he were 160 pounds ><

I could never go vegan though. I needs me some dairy <3

  • Dairy ( besides fish... bleh ) was easiest for me to give up. Especially cheese. I hate cheese, for some reason. Occasionally I'll put tofu cheese on something like a pizza, but I'm still not fond of it.

    Chocolate Silk > Cow Milk any day XD;
    Although... if you don't shake it well enough, or it's a little old, it tastes like Origional flavour again :[

seripha 03-17-2007 07:52 AM

Tabi - That's why you're not supposed to use these strips for more than 14 days and only once every 6 months. I don't use whitening tooth paste and I don't use them every day so I'm not doubling up, but I can see how some people may over do it. I checked with my dentist first and he said that what I'm doing is okay and won't damage my teeth.

No, dairy rules my life. Yogurt, Ice cream, cheese, milk, the whole shebang <3 I don't really care for soy milk :'[

Azure 03-17-2007 07:53 AM

  • ah Keeyats; we are in same height range.. but the health book said we need to be 166.. but i will settle down for 175lbs for myself. :)

    @ Seiki; wow.. 3 shades.. damn u xO!! *jealous* xD

  • Oh, I don't eat candy at all, except Airheads, because Peta has checked with every single ingredient, and it is Vegan. I don't really like Airheads though, so I don't eat them a lot.

    My father knows the owner of our local chinese restaurant personally, and he makes sure it's all Vegan.

    Bean Curd is to die for XD;

seripha 03-17-2007 07:55 AM

Keeyats - sounds like you've done your homework on that then. Are you taking any supplements/vitamins to make sure you're getting all the calcium and stuff like that? My vegan friends were huge fans of "mean green", this stuff you put in OJ or something like that.

True, but I can't help myself. I'm not going to break my routines for my whitening strips. And if I brush too often with them, then that's my problem, and I'll deal with it later.

Logan - Minimum weight for that height (because I'm also in that range) was 140, I thought. I originally wanted to get down that small, but realized that I'd probably never get that far, so I settled with 160 at minimum.

  • I would never, ever do that.
    I think the skin and bones look is ugly, and I hope that it doesn't come to that.

    But I've got a good amount of belly that I could lose :3

    Now, you have to take into consideration that none of my weight is extra muscle. I'm a wimp XD;

    If I flex, you can't tell. Noooo muscle.

    That's how people with healthy body types ( somewhat in shape, I guess ) weigh more than some skinny people. Muscle weighs more. XD;
