A slight one, but really I'd need to know what kind of environment they live in/grew up in to properly make judgement.

If they live in a seedy area, it's more than understandabl.

Well. I'm afraid of walking around town and running by myself because I know how common it is for girls to get kidnapped. I'm always getting teased about being so paranoid. So I was wondering if anybody else saw a problem with it.

I am majorly paranoid i can't really sleep with the front door unlocked and without closing my bedroom door cause don't want a killer to just come in and stab me wanna have some sort of a warning XD and when i was like 13 i used to pull the bla nket up around my neck so a vampire couldn't bite me >,< but i have grown out of the vampire paranoia

well techincally i was in college after i graduated for 3 months then dislike it and moved back home town where i was born and try to sign up for spring session.. was too late then waited for summer session date to sign up.. was too late again and it was too full.. so my last chance is this year's fall session. >3>;

It's common? o_o Reallllly?!?!?!?

Maybe the difference in my opinion is because of our different enviroments. The crime rate here in my country is quite low, especially for more serious cases like kid-napping and such.

To me, kidnapping = fairy tale stories.
But that only just proves how stupidly naive i am >_o;
I used to think i could easily fight off people, then I got into a friendly tussel with my cousin and couldn't do anything at all xD
