    I'm basically a very agreeable and kind person, but Gaiaonline really annoies me, especially when someone compares Menewsha, or any other good site, to Gaia.

Yeah, I think I do get that. I just meant because when this event first started I started a thread about the event where I was frustrated about it and I made it very clear that I love Menewsha and the items and am very happy with that but I was furstrated about the price of things. I just don't want people thinking badly of me ... which is kinda foolish, I know, but I like to have online be my safe place to go where everybody likes me for the most part and I can escape how people are in real life where they find differnces and tear you apart.

Well, we're 12 years apart. xD I won't turn seventeen until August though. We only have my mother, since my father's in jail and just recently divorced. Whenever she acts up, I become the "father," in a way--she always relies on me to take care of the situation. She won't do anything else but say "You better stop, or else I'm calling sister on you." It gets rather annoying, especially when she resorts to attacking me. :/ I want to knock her out when that happens.

well, I think that is rather dirty and lazy of your mom. She should take responsibility for parenting her own child and not make you do it. I know, I had a similar experience growing up. But, if she doesn't seem to mind, if the squirt bottle doesn't work, a good pop on her screaming mouth will make her think. I don't mean hit her so hard it turns red, but a good little pop would be a shock to her, but I only suggest that as a last resort. Also, other good things are like having a naughty spot to sit on or have her nose on the wall. My son HATES having the nose on the wall so all we have to do is say, "do you want to have your nose on the wall?" and he stops and goes to his room to play quietly. I reserve the pop on the mouth for serious back talk and swearing.

Well...how so? It would be pretty easy to look through the threads and check for spamming in my opinion. Just as its easy to do it in any other forum right now because of the size of the population. Course as it expands more mods would be needed but I don't see the logistical problem. o_o
I would have to agree, it's no problem to spot a spammer or any other misbehaving person.
The way Gaia does it- it’s like its own forum. Any user can make a thread about anything (generally it concerns the event). And way more people log on for an event, so as to get the items. So you have far more posting- which isn’t bad, but you also get a lot of spam. Part of the problem is gaia’s size and how they distribute items. If you do a modified version- where there’s a separate forum, but it more like just having threads where mods distribute items. Kind of like this but the threads are in one forum, mods can browse the threads, and all is dandy. Really, Menwesha should be fine so long as you keep the mod ratio monitored. If a member wants to set up a thread where they give away stuff, you may want to have them run their idea by a mod and be able to grant them access to starting a new event thread or something.

Hmm, I shoould maybe make a quest thread, but not now.
because there are only so many V-day event items in existance. If he hoards them all and won't sell them, then folks who are questing for the items will never be able to get them.

My father use to do this thing where we'd pinch her to stop, but now it doesn't phase her. He also use to hit her, but that doesn't phase her anymore either.

I tried doing a time out thing, but she'll just run off from there once I turn my head. She'll then run off to mom and be all "Sister's being mean, stop her!" ): My aunty always jokes that we need the Super Nanny, but I don't think that's really too far from the truth.

Yeah it really is, I'm quite pissed off, because this is the exact type of greed I wanted to avoid when coming to Menewsha. Despite me being THE exchanger on Gaia, and making money, I never once tried to do something that'd fuck up the value of a rare item that people wanted.

true. But are they going about and buying up all the V-day items, or something? and I thought you could only have 1 mule, so unless they are buying u all the avialabel v-day items, at most would have 2 sets of v-day items.

I only have 1 set, and do plan on keeping it, mainly cause I luffles the v-day items!

That sucks. It's that kind fo greed that can ruin a place.

and changing the value of the items by hoarding them is just shitty.

Glad she is selling them, and that is nice of her.

Yes, they are buying tons of V-day items. And you can have way more than just 1 set per chara apparently, otherwise Yume wouldn't have that many sets right?

i'm extremely irritated at what he's doing. because i see people questing and i feel really bad for them.
