I like how we really have to work for the items here. I really felt that it brought people together.

I learned a LOT about some users just by chatting in this thread. I feel a lot closer to this community.

I do feel for the people who were unable to log in and I do think there should be some compensation for them, but I feel absolutely no pity for the people complaining that they just "didn't notice there was an event" when they were logging on the entire time...

I don't think the items should be a "thank you" at all. =\ Saying that sort of makes me feel like people expect to get something for almost nothing... If you participated in the event you got the items. Enough said.

The only ways I have seen for earning the event items is by the 10th page post here and submitting art. There was a trivia thing, but that closed before the event was over.. And yeah. It doesn't seem completely fair to me.. Or at least it's not really easy to get those event items even if you are here over the event times. Sorry about you getting locked out, that sucks. =/

if I had the time or moneys I would try and get it, but right now I just want the green hairpin. I got the gold for making it to one of the 10th pages. i did not think I would. but was happy I finally did.

I really like having to work for them, but I think it's a little two difficult to get a set of the event items.
Being really active in this hasn't quite gotten me there, though I really like that everyone has been all nice and friendly in this huge event thread. Having a large discussion chat type thread is great.
But people lurk and snipe the first post, those who have been around don't necissarily get to have the items, and in general, it was really unclear to the new people abotu how the events worked. I'm still not entirely sure if there were any other ways to earn the items because it was so spread out.

Yeah a whole bunch of us couldn't get on...one group of people found a workaround on Saturday, that unfortunately didn't work for people with routers (like me) since the router connects to the net (and not the computer directly)...

I just wish they'd give out the event items the way they do on Zantarni or Gaia...

Actually what happened with Mike's clover search? Is that still going on?

I agree. If it wasn't for Yume's contests I wouldn't have had such a blast getting the items.

I have met a lot of people on this thread that I really like and I agree with you, I feel closer to this community too. After all, isn't that what events are all about? Participating as a community, becoming closer?

I feel for those people as well, especially if it was a problem with the new server, or anything like that. I was one of those people because I was away from the internet all day Saturday and most of Sunday, but, thanks to a little bit of participation in this thread, I was able to get all of my items.

I agree... this event was very generous of Yume. Originally there were going to be just the items and you had to buy them, am I right? But she went out of her way to make it easier on us. I think it's not us that deserves a thank you, but her.
