just apply online where you can
then start going to places and apply in person

Well, I could apply online, but most places with applications online are going to be too far for me to walk/ride my bike to. I just don't think that any of the places down here in the valley that I live in are hiring. :( I am from a pretty small town in Northern California.

a lot of places here don't even advertise for help
they just stick a sign up in the window, if even that

I just don't want to get a job in the next town over because with me not driving, that is just a pain because I'd have to find someone to drive me there and come and get me as it's too far to walk all the way into that town. Because it's like a 25 to 30 minute drive, so it'd be way too long a walk. [sweat]
