Well if he does go in the military just a warning on you and him, lots of guys will tell him to dump you or cheat on you because you are not around. They will talk down to him and berate him all the time. When he is in basic he will be yelled at constantly and threatened to be recycled. once he gets out of Basic and goes into tech school the same will be said of him if he doesn't do well in the class but they will be threatening to kick him out. Once he gets to his job he will need to do more training there and threaten to get kicked out of the military along with they talking about cheaters and such. If he gains any weight he will be threaten to get kicked out of the airforce so he will need to keep a daily workout routine.

So there is a ton of stressed, and I don't know how depressed he is but he will need to try to keep up a good attitude. Not to mention me and my boy have gotten into a bunch of fights because we don't get much time to talk. Personally if he wants to do it he will need to have alot of will power.

Then again this is my personal experience, he could have an easy time.
