Hot Fuzz was a good movie too.
I haven't heard about The World's End. I will have to keep an eye out for it.

It's quite hard to describe the genre, the main characters are police officers in the country but if anything it parodies buddy cop movie tropes. The same kind of dark and dry humour that's in Shaun of the Dead as well.

Edit: And I forget the obvious 'It's a film'.
