(actually though, a few questions from a first-time event participant.)
Does it begin at midnight on the date specified? Is timing of our participation critical, for example, is there usually a "best" time to be online for it, that we'd miss something if not online at x hour? And third, are events here forum-based? I completely don't know what to expect ^^;

Hi Lokinta!

Events usually start in the evening ~American time~ (I have forgotten which time zone). The event will be forum based although there is sometimes a coded feature like the Chance game to gain extra event currency.

Some of the event game/contest threads may have a timing element (you can take part once a day or every 12 hours etc.) but there is usually some activity at all hours. :)

what Kat said 'nods' nicely done Kat. oh and its always fun 'nods' its the most active time for our poor site..

Usually events start at 6pm or 9pm In PST time zone, so yea....don't expect the event in less the 24 hours.
