I remember a bit of my dream last night. But I used to keep a dream journal so I can recall them better than most people.

I was experiencing a story from the point of view of a man and his daughter. -Though he didn't look like me or the girl like my daughter I knew that's what it was about.

It involved a short Alien/demon not sure which - it was pale and kinda bluish purple, black eyes with greenish yellow pupils, shark teeth, semi aquatic reptilian looking (ugly to most people but I thought it was cute so I let it live in my closet)

The rooms spun in a strange way (like most of my dreams the location is in a constant state of flux, but the characters stay the same) I realized that it didn't want to hide in my closet anymore and that it wanted my daughters bed. I freaked out and started running to find her but the hall kept getting longer and the walls kept changing to trees.

When I found her the alien/demon was about to cut her hair but it was looking for a specific strand of hair. (maybe in reference to the fates) Then I yelled at it and told it that it could stay in my closet anymore and it left.

I see them often but rarely all at once. My dad I haven't seen in a few months though. I miss him. He wanted to do lunch today but I had to work,
