The first one is still a mystery, though. Nevermind to the second question I had... so basically, if you want that specific item, you go to the place mentioned in the clue. |
For the first one, there are lots of hints in this FAQ around page 31 or 32. You shouldn't be afraid to check the other forums too. There might be an important post about a new person to the site that you'll want to know more about.

i think you need to have 24 candies for yesterdays clue to show up. some people have had problems with it though, where they will get the clue but not the popup saying htey had it. and they didn't know untill they checked their clues
