I'm not sure how much candy we're supposed to have to see the 6th clue either. Maybe you should wait for the first post of this thread to update.

You need 15 candies for the 6th clue, and 15 candies to get the 6th item.

18 to get the clue, but when i get the day 6 clue, i already had 21 candy so to get day 6 club, it goin to be between 18-20 candy

I have to work all day tomorrow, so I must have plenty ready for the clue tomorrow afternoon. I want to get three of whatever tomorrows item is, then spend the rest probably on more hairpins and staffs. I think those two items will be the most versatile and desired later on down the line.
