Yeah, the tektek invasion is when Menewsha got overloaded with signups from the wrong kind of people for this website. The Gaia vs. Menewsha thing is getting really old and that added to it.

Is it wrong if there is a Thread giving hints to help solve the clue after hours of no one getting what is it?

I came from Gaia long before the Tektek ad and I'm still a member of both communities; however, a topic such as this is better spent elsewhere and not in jellie's topic about where to and where not to post.

I had to use the forum search feature to figure the Halloween day one quest out. I have absolutely no idea how people figured it out from the clue alone.

I think the post important thing this has shown is how disorganized the links to forum search and the back story are. I guess that's one way to conserve bandwidth XD

Is it wrong also to tell which are the items? Like making a list as they appear?

yes, because the clues remain available for the rest of the week, so any late comers would have the items handed to them on a plate if people posted the answers.

THERE are noobs from gaia here, they're just not hitting the same places we do.

is there going to be a thread with all the items as they come out? maybe even stating how many candies are going to be needed for each?

I only created a thread to ask people to give me clues to the npc. I didn't ask where it was hiding. People who don't want to take the time to find them are sad.

Of course they should. But if they haven't been keeping up with the thread, 90+ pages is a little overwhelming to read. So they read the first page, maybe pp. 2 & 3, then skip to the last page.
People have recently been posting about getting hints for yesterday's clue, and we've been directing them back to pp. 40-50. It seems to be working-- so far, at least.

When I look for the NPC. I just check the FAQ. It tells me a lot. =D

If I have trouble I will check the FAQ. There is no point in making multiple threads bugging people for help. I am sure that I will find it on my own somehow :P
