the event pages are too black for black to be a really cool color, I'd say red, but as you can see by my avi I'm partial to the color.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I previously had a white and green avi prior to the event. But then the black background came up, and it just didn't match at all, so I changed to black. The orange a lot of people have on looks nice--very bright.
